As the 2009 Belk Bluegrass festival ended and people were filing out of the Belk Community Park they were remarking about how great the music, food, and friendly atmosphere was and they could hardly wait until the 2010 festival. Although eight months have passed people are still talking about that festival. As we approach the 2010 festival on April 23rd and 24th Bluegrass fans are already making plans to attend for another two days of great music, singing, and food.
Seven bands are booked to provide two days of great old fashion traditional bluegrass music and singing. Belk Alabama is a small community in western Alabama on Hwy 96 that has some of the hardest working people that go out of their way to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. The festival is a family oriented program that is enjoyed by all ages.
